Most operators juggle two DMCs for Thailand and Vietnam. Pai Dai is one team covering both countries: one contract, 24-hour proposals, direct supplier access.
For the trade, every rate we quote is net. Your margin is your business. We never undercut you. For direct clients, we build the journey end to end.
Thai staff in Thailand. Vietnamese staff in Vietnam. Not a coordinator with a phone, people who know the roads, the hotels, the guides.
One agreement. One invoice. One phone number, no matter which country your group is in. We own the problem end to end.
Series departures, MICE production, and two-person itineraries all run through the same ground operation. Our systems handle scale without the scramble. The bigger your programme, the better we perform.

Net rates, multi-day group logistics, cross-border itineraries. From airport pickup to farewell dinner, every ground detail handled. Thailand and Vietnam under one operation.

We handle venues, AV, catering, and safety planning for groups of 20 to 500. Incentive programmes, conferences, team retreats: we run the ground logistics so you own the client experience.

We speak your language and handle factory visits, trade delegations, and market orientation. Extended stay programmes with corporate-grade service levels across both countries.

Updates
Thailand's long-discussed tourist entry fee changed shape in August 2026. The figure people have repeated since 2023, 300 baht for air arrivals and 150 baht by land or sea, is no longer the proposal. It is now a flat 450 baht for every foreign visitor, however they arrive. That

Two briefs land the same Tuesday morning. Same trip, near enough: two weeks across Thailand and Vietnam, twelve travellers, February. One gets a sharp number back. The other gets a number that is noticeably higher, and the agency who sent it will quietly assume our margin is

Look up how long it takes to get from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay and you will be told three and a half hours. Or four. Both numbers are in circulation, both come from people who have made the trip, and the gap between them is not traffic.

A DMC is the operator inside the destination. We contract the hotels, vehicles and guides directly, hold the licences to operate in Thailand and Vietnam, and staff the ground for the length of the programme. A tour operator packages and sells the trip, usually from your home market, and often buys the ground element from a DMC like us. The difference shows up in two places. Commercially, every layer between you and the destination takes margin and adds distance from the supplier. Operationally, it decides who is accountable at two in the morning when a flight is cancelled in Da Nang: the company whose staff are in the arrivals hall, or the company that will forward your message to them. You keep the client and the brand throughout. We never sell to your traveller directly, and we never appear in front of them as the seller.
Read the full guideThailand and Vietnam, with our own teams and full ground operations in both, rather than one country subcontracting the other. In Thailand we operate Bangkok, Ayutthaya, Sukhothai, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phuket, Krabi and Koh Samui. In Vietnam we operate Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Hue, Hoi An, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City. Cambodia, including Siem Reap and Angkor, is available as a cross-border extension to a Vietnam programme, not as a standalone destination. One point that catches planners out: Thailand and Vietnam do not share a border, and Laos and Cambodia sit between them, so a combined programme moves by air. We book and hold those flights inside the programme rather than leaving them to the client. Because the same company contracts both halves, a Thailand and Vietnam trip runs on one contract, one invoice and one point of contact instead of a handover between two ground handlers.
Read the full guidePlan on five to seven nights for one country, twelve to fourteen for both, and eighteen to twenty-one for a deeper Indochina routing that adds Cambodia. Below five nights in a single country, internal flights and transfers start eating the itinerary rather than serving it: Bangkok to Chiang Mai, or Hanoi to Hoi An, costs most of a day each way once airport time is counted. For a combined Thailand and Vietnam programme, twelve nights is the realistic floor, because there is no land crossing between the two countries and the connecting flight consumes a day that a ten-night itinerary cannot spare. Group size changes the shape more than the length. Above roughly forty travellers, hotel allocation and coach movements set the pace, and we build in more buffer between sites. Tell us the nights available and we will say honestly whether the routing fits or needs cutting.
Read the full guideEntry works two ways in both countries. Some nationalities enter visa-free for a set number of days, and everyone else applies for an e-visa in advance. The lists differ between Thailand and Vietnam, so a combined programme can be visa-free on one leg and e-visa on the other for the same traveller. Separately from any visa, nearly every visitor to Thailand must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card online before travel. It is not a visa and it is free, but arriving without it causes delays at immigration. Passports should carry at least six months of validity beyond the return date, plus blank pages for stamps. We check the current requirement for every passport nationality on a booking as part of the programme rather than assuming, because these rules change at short notice, and we flag anything that needs action to you rather than to your traveller.
Read the full guideA costed proposal comes back within 24 hours of a complete brief. Complete means five things: the destinations, the travel dates or a dated window, the number of travellers, the hotel standard you want, and which elements you need us to operate, whether that is accommodation, transport, guiding, activities, MICE, or the whole programme. With those five we can cost properly and return something you can forward to your client. If something material is missing we come back with the specific question first rather than sending a padded guess, because a fast wrong number costs you more than a slow right one. Standard lead time from inquiry to arrival is four weeks or more. Peak season, December to February plus Songkran in April and Lunar New Year, needs eight weeks or more, because hotel allocation in both countries tightens sharply and rooms stop being available at any price.
Talk to our teamEvery programme is quoted to order at net rates and issued to registered trade partners, rather than sold from a published rate sheet. There are two reasons. Ground costs in Thailand and Vietnam move with season, group size and hotel allocation, so a published rate is either stale or padded to cover the worst case, and both are bad for the partner marking it up. And we sell only through the trade, so there is no public rate a traveller could find that would undercut your retail price. We do not sell to your client directly, before, during or after the programme. Rates are quoted in EUR or USD, exclude VAT, and are billed as one invoice per programme however many suppliers sit behind it. What you receive is the net cost of the programme, with your margin left entirely to you. Registration is what unlocks net rates, and it is not paid or gated.
